From launching the homemade rafts to an exciting kayak race to throwing bags at the cornhole tournament and watching the ducks float down the river while listening to great bands and eating delicious food, this year’s event was definitely a BIGGER, BETTER BUFFALO!!!

The Tennessee General Assembly approved two additional one-time holidays this year, in addition to the traditional sales tax holiday that takes place each year at the end of July.
During these holiday periods, Tennesseans do not have to pay state or local sales tax on certain items, saving up to 10% on some purchases.

Secretary of State Tre Hargett is warning Tennessee business owners about a new scam targeting businesses with a deceptive mailer from a company called Business Document Center, incorrectly implying that businesses need a Certificate of Good Standing.
"Unfortunately, our Division of Business and Charitable Organizations and I were recently made aware of yet another company sending out misleading mailers trying to take advantage of Tennessee business owners," said Secretary Hargett.

Popular Tennessee Festival Attracts National Creative Community
LINDEN, Tenn. - The charming town of Linden, Tenn. is pleased to announce the 13th annual Blooming Arts Festival, March 26-27, 2021. Blooming Arts Festival is Linden’s annual signature event and one of the region’s leading outdoor festivals. More than 150 artists registered in 2019, with attendance near 10,000.
