Christina Hinson received her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1997 from Union University, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA.
She is a lifelong native of Perry County and has taught in the Perry County School System for over 25 years. Most of those years were spent in the 2nd grade classroom. Christina was the 2018 – 2019 Building Level Teacher of the Year (K-4) at Lobelville School, the 2015 – 2016 Building Level Teacher of the Year (K-4) at Lobelville School, the 2010 - 2011 Perry County Teacher of the Year (K-4), and 2005 – 2006 Building Level Teacher of the Year (K-4) at Lobelville School.
