Robby J. Moore is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
He has served as Mayor of Lobelville since 2000. Since that time, he has served on numerous advisory boards and committees. He was named 2018’s Republican Party Statesman of the Year for the 7th District, but he says his greatest accomplishments are being a husband to Judge Katerina Moore, and father to their children Sasha and R.J.
During his mother’s illness, he saw firsthand the power of community and family in Perry County, and he is honored to live a life in service to this great place we call home.
In addition to his accomplishments in public service, he does his best to be a “good neighbor” by serving his friends and family. He is always there in times of crisis to do what needs to be done to make the situation better, whether that’s cutting trees out of the road or providing counsel to a grieving friend. Anyone sick, going through a hard time, or deserving of a pat on the back can possibly expect a delivery of the world-famous “Robby’s Ribs.”
Robby is always willing to go the extra mile to offer a word of encouragement, and let others know they are appreciated. And he is sincere.
