Located in the heart of Nashville's Big Backyard, Perry County has plenty for nature overs, history buffs, and those who simply love to shop, eat, and soak up local flavor.

We certainly want you to take a look at everything our artisans and vendors offer, but when you come here, we also invite you to explore our shops and restaurants.

You're sure to find a variety of gift and boutique items with a southern, small-town twist in our many retail shops, and our Downtown Arts District features handmade treasures from jewelry, to original paintings, to reclaimed furniture and beyond.

The third annual Miss Blooming Arts Pageant will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024, as follows:

• The Prince competition will be held at 11:00 a.m. for 0-23 months and two to four year olds.
• The Princess competition will begin at 11:30 a.m. for five age groups: 0-11 months, 12-24 months, three to four, five to six, and seven to nine years.
• Miss Blooming Arts is at 1:00 p.m., in three age groups: Junior, 10-12; Teen, 13-15; and Miss, 16-21 years.
• Competitors in zero to four year age groups should wear Sunday best; ages five and up are pageant wear.

Entry fee is $35. Most Photogenic is $5. All proceeds benefit the Miss Perry County Scholarship Organization.

Summer is almost here, and that means Music on Main Street 2023 can't be far behind!  This has been a tradition for over 15 years now, and we are happy to bring it to you again this year.

Dates are as follows:

June 3, 2023 - Lobelville Long Amphitheater
June 17, 2023 - Linden, Courthouse
July 1, 2023 - Lobelville Long Amphitheater
July 15, 2023 - Linden, Courthouse
July 29, 2023 - Lobelville Long Amphitheater
Linden will be on the courthouse steps, right on Main St., with your lawn chairs.

Lobelville has its own Long Amphitheater on Main St., where the old stage used to be.  Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, plenty of room to spread out.

Blooming Arts Festival is Linden’s annual signature event and one of the region’s leading outdoor festivals. More than 150 artists registered in 2022, with attendance near 12,000.
