Mayor Ward has worked with the Town of Linden for the past 23 years, starting out as a meter reader in 2000. He has also served as Chairman of 911 since 2017. As Mayor, he has worked to improve Linden’s parks and expand public utilities into unserved areas of the county.
He invests in our youth – from donations and the building of the splashpad, to the implementation of the TCAT class that brought opportunities for students to obtain a secondary degree without leaving the county for the first time ever. Under Mayor Ward’s administration, the Town of Linden has received awards for best water in the state and is debt free for the first time in 40 years. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife Lindsey and their four children.
